This wedding was held at Summer Place, Hyde Park. It was truly an extravagant affair, which started off with a beautiful garden wedding under these huge jacaranda trees and ended of with a peacock themed reception. The couple paid attention to every detail from the Violinist, who played Mohabbatein before Shanil walked in. As guest arrived to the wedding we took photos of them had them printed and framed and later gave them out as guests were leaving. I thought was a really nice gift or favour idea. The reception flowers where these beautiful bluish purple orchids where bought in all the way from Malaysia for the floral arrangements. The MC was the popular radio deejay Kreejay Govender. For the wedding Sheetal and Shanil wore traditional outfits a stuck to a gold colour palette, with Sheetals sari having a colourful encrusted stone boarder. There reception outfits where slightly different and colourful: Sheetal wore a 3 piece outfit which was purple, lime green and red, Shanil wore a western black suit but added a green shirt to match Sheetal. Guest where entertained and amazed from start to finish of this function.

This Destination wedding in the Valley of a thousand hills was so beautiful we knew if would get featured in a magazine.
Saying 'I do" the Hindu way. Most weddings are stunningly beautiful affairs, from the bride’s gown to the food and décor, however very few compare with the beauty, colour, and general splendour of a traditional Hindu wedding. Arriving at Radiant Image, we now understood how Khadija found her way into Bollywood as an exceptional makeup artist Venusha looked lovely. The location selected for Venusha and Neshav was fitting considering that Neshav is a pilot for Comair. We really loved Venusha's idea of having him use his uniform as this was a perfect way to personalize their shoot. The wedding ceremony was personal and romantic, followed by some heartfelt words and tears by Venusha's sister. Click here to view more images

Vanessa and Santosh wedding was a small temple wedding with about 30 guests. We had loads of time between the wedding and the reception. We were able to do a our couples shoot in the wedding and reception outfit and 3 different places. And i finally got the beach shoot I've been dying to do since we started shooting in Durban. It has never been possible prior to this because of all the late weddings, so I was particularly happy when Vanessa mentioned that her wedding had to be moved from 3 to 12... In between the fun shoot, Mitesh managed to almost loose his shoes in the water. more images

I was lost for words while writing this post. I suppose when you know someone it is far harder to write about them. Well here goes. Hasmika and Niraj had a lovely wedding in KZN Hillcrest at the lovely The duBoirs Boutique Lodge wedding venue. . I anticipated it to be nippy but it was possibly one of the coldest days I've ever experienced in KZN. It was like i brought the Johannesburg cold front with me. This was an outdoor wedding and as you many of you know, I love outdoor weddings. Hasmika’s make-up and hair was simply exquisite and brought her whole outfit together. Her white outfit contrasted beautifully with Niraj’s maroon and gold. I had the privilege of accompanying Hasmika on her wedding shopping trip to India, so a blog post will follow with tips of where to eat, stay and off course where to get the ultimate bridal outfit ( i'm missing India already). This has got to be one of the brightest and most colorful weddings I have done in a while. Any angle I shot at the images were just stunning. For the location shoot Mitesh managed to find a deserted spot with an old wooden house and even thou we were losing light fast we managed to get some great pics.
